PARTNERSHIPS

At Bright City, we are passionate about making a lasting impact in our community through meaningful ministry partnerships.

We believe in following the example of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve and give His life for others (Mark 10:45). With joy, we offer our time, abilities, and resources to meet real needs and reflect His love.

We also recognize that we’re better together. By collaborating with others in our community, we can extend our reach and multiply the good being done. We're not concerned with getting the credit — only with seeing more people helped and loved like Jesus. Below are some of the ministry partnerships we’re honored to support.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) exists to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. Through its E3 strategy—Engage, Equip, Empower—FCA builds relationships, provides biblical resources, and trains leaders to make disciples in the world of sports. With a presence in over 100 countries, FCA hosts camps, huddles, and outreach events that foster spiritual growth and Christ-centered community. Its mission is rooted in values like integrity, teamwork, service, and excellence, all lived out through the platform of athletics.

The Freedom Collective’s mission is to glorify God by bringing hope to victims of sexual exploitation, empowering them to live free, and ultimately working toward the abolition of sex trafficking Through trauma-informed outreach, a 24‑hour hotline, emergency safe homes, and community partnerships, they provide immediate stabilization, care, and housing to survivors. Their ministry emphasizes relationships, compassion, legal advocacy, and holistic support to help survivors reclaim freedom and move toward restoration.

Free to Be Ministries exists to help individuals move beyond emotional distress, unhealthy patterns, and spiritual disconnection in order to live as God created and redeemed them to be. They provide trauma‑informed, holistic services — such as integrative prayer & counsel sessions, somatic movement work, and group retreats — combining faith and psychology to foster wholeness of body, mind, and spirit. Their goal is to make healing accessible and affordable so that all who are hurting can experience freedom and empowerment in Christ.

Young Life exists to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith through prayer, authentic relationships, and engaging experiences like clubs, camps, and mentorship groups. Their approach centers on “going where kids are”—building bridges of friendship with middle school, high school, and college students regardless of their background—and earning the right to share the gospel in a trusted, relational way. Through fun, adventurous events, ongoing discipleship via small‑group Bible studies (Campaigners), and year‑round presence alongside caring adult volunteers, they aim to nurture lasting faith and spiritual maturity in youth worldwide.

SERVING OUR CITY

We’re honored to serve the Big Walnut community in a variety of hands-on and practical ways.

We regularly partner with local organizations like the Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association for community events such as the Fourth of July celebration and the Sizzle & Sounds festival. We also lead restoration projects — painting, mulching, and cleaning up parks — to help care for and beautify our shared spaces.

At Bright City, we’re committed to investing our time and resources to help our community flourish. If you know of a need or have an idea to make our area better, we’d love to hear from you!
